What Are The Anti-Rust Measures For Circular Mould Die Cutting Machine ?
What Are The Anti-Rust Measures For Circular Mould Die Cutting Machine ?
Because more than 90% of the circular mould die-cutting machine is made of metal products, the primary problem in production is corrosion prevention, and metal corrosion is caused by the chemical effect or electrochemical effect of surrounding media. According to different media, it can be divided into atmospheric corrosion, soil corrosion, seawater corrosion and fine bacteria corrosion. In the meantime, atmospheric corrosion is widespread, because metal products touch the atmosphere during processing, transportation, storage and preservation, and there are conditions for atmospheric corrosion in time.
The primary factor of metal rusting consists of the following reasons:
1) relative humidity of atmosphere
At the same temperature, the percentage of water vapor content in the atmosphere and its water vapor saturation content is called relative humidity. Below a certain relative humidity, the corrosion rate of metal is very small, but above this relative humidity, the corrosion rate suddenly increases. This relative humidity is called critical humidity. The critical humidity of many metals is between 50% and 80%, and that of steel is about 75%. Atmospheric relative humidity has great influence on metal corrosion. When the atmospheric humidity is higher than the critical humidity, water film or water drops will appear on the metal surface. If harmful impurities contained in the atmosphere dissolve the soil water film and water drops, they will become electrolyte, which will aggravate corrosion.
2) Temperature and humidity
The correlation between atmospheric temperature and humidity affects metal corrosion. This has the following primary conditions: First, the water vapor content in the atmosphere increases with the increase of air temperature; Second, high temperature promotes corrosion, especially in humid environment. The higher the temperature, the faster the corrosion. When the relative humidity is low, the influence of temperature on corrosion is not obvious, but when the temperature is higher than the critical humidity, the corrosion quantity increases sharply with the increase of air temperature. In addition, if there is a temperature difference between the atmosphere and metal, condensed water will form on the low-temperature metal surface, which will also cause the metal to rust.
3) Corrosive gases
Sulfur dioxide, a corrosive gas polluting the air, has a great influence on metal corrosion, especially on steel, copper and their alloys. Sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere mainly comes from the burning of coal. At the same time, carbon dioxide from incineration products also has corrosive effect. Corrosive gases are mixed in the atmosphere around the plant. For example, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia gas and hydrochloric acid gas are all factors that promote metal corrosion.
The quantity increased sharply. In addition, if there is a temperature difference between the atmosphere and metal, condensed water will form on the low-temperature metal surface, which will also cause the metal to rust.
4) Other elements
The atmosphere contains a lot of dust, such as smoke, coal ash, chloride and other acid, alkali and salt particles, etc., some of which are corrosive or condensation nuclei of water droplets, which are also corrosion elements. For example, chloride is considered as the ""enemy ""of metal corrosion.
